Ayushmann Khurrana Birthday Special: Tahira Kashyap Shares A Glimpse Of Her Husband's Intimate And Fun Birthday Bash
Ayushmann Khurrana is undoubtedly one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood and the talented actor turned 37 on Tuesday (September 14). He is one of the most sought out actors in the industry, and that is not just limited to filmmakers, but even the audience. On the occasion of his birthday, celebrities and fans flooded social media with messages, wishing the actor on his special day.

The actor chose to celebrate his special day with his family and friends at home. Ayushmann's wife, author and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared how the family celebrated Ayushmann’s birthday. She gave the fans a glimpse of the actor’s birthday bash by uploading a few videos on Instagram stories and from the looks of it, they spent the evening eating cake and jamming on some 90s music.

In the first video clip, Ayushmann was seen with a cake knife in his hand, surrounded by his loved ones. While the group sang happy birthday, he left everyone in splits by ‘stabbing’ the cake, instead of cutting the usual way, following it with a dab.

Tagging friends and family, including Ayushmann's close friend Rochak Kohli, Tahira captioned the video as she wrote, “Cutting nope stabbing his cake.”

Later, in the video, the cake cutting was soon followed by the group smearing cake all over his face.

In the next clip, the filmmaker revealed that the group later gathered in the room and sang songs. They were heard singing Yeh Dil Deewana from Shah Rukh Khan's film Pardes. They played the song with a guitar and a harmonium in place. Tahira was also spotted dancing in one of the videos. “Keeping my energies up after a full day at shoot and why not it's your, Ayushmann's birthday,” she captioned the video in which she was dancing.

Earlier, Tahira had shared a throwback picture with her dear husband and recalled the time the actor played the guitar and sang a song for her.

Narrating the story in his caption, Tahira wrote, "We were 19! I found you quite cool, with your frames, bike, matching sweaters and mufflers, but what got my heart was when you held the guitar and sang a song for me. You have always been passionate about art and what inspires me is after all these years your innocence and excitement towards work and life remains the same. You have been my biggest confidante and cheer leader. I might not be a big romantic as the goofiness (like you would say) gets the better of me, but I want to tell you that life is amazing with you and I continue learning a lot from you! Happy birthday umm P.s - we were such lookers no."

Work-wise, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently working on Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. He is also busy filming Doctor G, a drama-comedy starring Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah.
